The F40LA is a model of Yamaha outboard motor. It is a 4-stroke engine with a power output of 40 horsepower. The “LA” designation indicates that it has a long shaft, which is suitable for use on boats with higher transoms. The engine also features electronic fuel injection (EFI), which provides improved fuel efficiency and performance.

The sleek profile design looks great on the back of any boat in this class.

Forward control models come standard with digital gauges and can also be connected to the leading-edge Yamaha Digital Network System with fuel management as an optional extra.

Tiller handle models come standard with Yamaha’s Multi-Function Tiller Handle that features a state-of-the-art design, easy access to trim and tilt, and a variable speed trolling switch.
